Vita Liberata and Bare by Vogue are classic tans that develop over several hours for a deeper, longer-lasting colour, while Express Lusso Tan is a rapid-development option that can be rinsed off in as little as 1–3 hours. Express is the better choice when your schedule doesn't allow for an overnight develop — the application and finish are just as professional either way.

Exfoliate the day before your appointment, and avoid moisturiser, deodorant or makeup on the day itself, as these can create a barrier that leads to patchiness. Complete all har removal at leas 24 hours prior, avoiding razors with a moisturiser strip.

Do not moisturise the morning of your appointment, avoid showering within 4 hours of your appointment to allow the skin to fully dry.

Loose, dark, comfortable clothing is best. Anything tight can rub or mark before your tan has fully developed. Flip-flops or sandals are ideal footwear so nothing sits against freshly tanned skin.

Moisturise daily with a fragrance-free, oil-free lotion, avoid long hot showers, swimming pools and heavy exfoliation, and pat skin dry rather than rubbing after washing. Good aftercare is the single biggest factor in how long your colour holds.
